Sydney J. Cohn grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and fell in love with photography at the age of 14. Drawing from experiences in her personal life, Sydney's work focuses on themes revolving around femininity, intimacy, womanhood, and mental illness. Sydney’s work has been seen in Photographer’s Forum Best of College and High School Photography, Bloomberg Businessweek, and in galleries in Philadelphia, Providence, New York, Paris, and Prague. Her work is held in collections worldwide. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Honors Designation from Rhode Island School of Design.
